Documents required

1
Udyam Registration Certificate
Active, valid Udyam Registration Certificate from the official Udyam Portal. Confirms Micro or Small Enterprise status — the primary eligibility gate for this scheme.
Tip: Ensure the registration is active and not expired. The MSME category (Micro/Small) on the certificate must match your investment and turnover levels at the time of application.
2
Original Quality Certificate
Clear copy of the obtained quality certification — ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22000, HACCP, WHO-GMP, BIS, or ZED — showing the certification body name, valid inception date, and expiry date.
Tip: The certificate must be current (not expired) at the time of application. ZED certification is also eligible. Ensure the certificate is issued to the enterprise name matching your Udyam registration.
3
Accreditation Body Proof (NABCB / IAF)
Official document confirming that the certification-issuing body is accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Certification Bodies (NABCB) or the International Accreditation Forum (IAF). Required to validate that the quality certificate is from a recognised body.
Tip: Download the NABCB accreditation certificate from nabcb.qci.org.in or the certifying body's website. Certifications from non-NABCB/IAF accredited bodies are not eligible for reimbursement.
4
Itemized Vouchers and Fee Receipts
Tax invoices, detailed cash bills, and stamped payment receipts for all expenses paid — covering consultancy fees, certification body audit fees, and testing/calibration charges. Each expense must be individually documented.
Tip: Every file must be submitted as a separate PDF under 200 KB. Informal receipts or handwritten bills are generally not accepted — insist on official tax invoices from the consultancy and certifying body.
5
Enterprise Entity Proof
Entity registration document appropriate to the business structure: Certificate of Incorporation (Pvt Ltd/OPC), Registered Partnership Deed (partnership firms), or LLP Agreement (LLPs). Confirms the legal existence of the enterprise.
Tip: Submit whichever is applicable to your entity type. The enterprise name on this document must exactly match the Udyam Registration and quality certificate.
6
Bank Account Details
Cancelled cheque or bank account details of the corporate bank account linked to the active Udyam profile. Required for Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) of the approved reimbursement amount.
Tip: The bank account must be in the enterprise's name (not the proprietor's personal account). Ensure the account is the same one linked to the Udyam registration for DBT eligibility.
7
Power Connectivity Proof
Conditional — may be required by regional MSME-DFO offices. Electricity Board meter card, connected load statement, or latest electricity bill matching the manufacturing plant's physical address.
Tip: Required to verify the enterprise is an active manufacturing unit at the stated address. Upload the most recent electricity bill in PDF format under 200 KB.
8
CA Cost Certificate
Conditional — required where total claimed expenditure is significant or when requested by the MSME-DFO. Expenditure breakdown certificate audited and attested by a practising Chartered Accountant, itemising all consultancy and certification costs.
Tip: Must be signed and stamped by a CA with their membership number. The CA certificate should match the itemized vouchers submitted. Required if your total expenditure claim approaches the reimbursement ceiling.
9
Non-Duplication Declaration / Indemnity Bond
Conditional — signed declaration or indemnity bond on stamp paper affirming the enterprise has not claimed or applied for reimbursement of the same quality certification expenses from any other central or state government scheme.
Tip: Typically required on ₹100 stamp paper, notarised or executed before a Notary Public. Failure to disclose duplicate claims is grounds for recovery of disbursed amounts.
10
Caste / Category Certificate
Conditional — required only when applying under SC, ST, or Minority sub-category priority targets for preferential processing. Issued by the competent revenue authority.
Tip: Submit only if claiming sub-category priority. Certificate must be from the Tehsildar/SDM or equivalent. Minority certificates must be from a State Minority Commission or notified body.
