Applying as a CA

BenefitStack's CA network connects verified Chartered Accountants with founders who need help filing government scheme applications. As a CA on the platform you earn a fixed fee per successfully filed case with no marketing or business development required on your part.

Who can apply

Any practising Chartered Accountant with a valid ICAI membership number can apply. BenefitStack accepts CAs across all states and all specialisations, though applications from CAs with experience in MSME schemes, startup incentives, or export benefits are reviewed fastest.

The application form

The CA application is at /ca/apply. You will need to provide:

  • Firm name — your practice or firm name
  • ICAI membership number — your 6-digit membership number (verified against ICAI records)
  • PAN — your firm or personal PAN for payment processing
  • Email and phone — used for case notifications
  • Specialisations — select all categories you are comfortable working with (e.g. MSME Schemes, Startup India / DPIIT, Tax Benefits, Export Incentives)
  • States — the states you are willing to take cases in

You also confirm that you will not solicit clients off-platform using introductions made through BenefitStack.

Review timeline

Applications are reviewed within 1–2 business days. You receive an email once your application is approved and your account is activated with CA access.

After approval

Once approved, your CA dashboard becomes accessible at /ca/dashboard. Your status badge shows Active CA in the navigation bar. You can immediately browse the case marketplace and begin claiming cases.

ICAI verification

Until BenefitStack has verified your ICAI certificate, your account is in a pending-verification state. You can browse the marketplace but cannot claim cases. Email support@benefitstack.in with your ICAI certificate to complete verification.
